How to Move a One-Tonne Pallet of Heat Logs by Hand?

How are we going to move a one-tonne pallet of heat logs which have been delivered 50 metres away from the log store?  Let’s find out!

I forgot to mention we have no front door road access, the Green in front of our house is water-logged, the refuse collection lorry is coming and the neighbour gives us grief with large deliveries.

The starting point of this challenge is the roadside at the bottom of the slope, where the pallet of heat logs sits.  Load the car with 24 heat logs (one quarter of the pallet) then drive to the mall hard standing on the edge of the Green.

At the Green we need to be aware of the following:-

  • Obstacles we need to deal with both wheels-bin and refuse workers and avoid hindering their activities.
  • Minimise any activity which would provoke the creature from next door.
  • Next, navigate the load across the water-logged Green using equipment to keep the trolley afloat.

Home Straight:

  • Steer the trolley safety to the log store and unload.

Do this four times to complete the challenge.
